Yilong Luo(罗逸龙)

About me

I am Yilong Luo, a Ph.D. student in Software Engineering and System Software at Peking University (PKU). I am advised by Prof. Tao Xie. Fortunately, I also collaborate with Prof. Chenxi Wang and Prof. Diyu Zhou.

Research

My research focuses on computer systems, with an emphasis on operating systems, memory disaggregation, virtualization, and network interconnects.

Chameleon: Adaptive Memory Overcommitment for Disaggregated Virtual Machines

Yilong Luo, Yulong Zhang, Siyuan Xu, Siyi Zhang, Yanwen Xia, Mingyu Wu, Diyu Zhou, Tao Xie, Chenxi Wang

ACM SIGOPS Annual Technical Conference (ATC), 2026

An adaptive memory overcommitment framework for disaggregated VMs that dynamically adjusts page-management granularity to runtime access skewness and defers and batches EPT invalidations, exposing cold memory hidden in huge pages while preserving translation locality and swap efficiency.

2026OSDI

Blowfish: Elastic Virtual Machine Memory for Disaggregated Memory

Yulong Zhang, Yilong Luo, Diyu Zhou, Quan Chen, Quanxi Li, Mosong Zhou, Lei Zhu, Senbo Fu, Qian Peng, Huimin Cui, Xiaobing Feng, Tao Xie, Chenxi Wang

USENIX Symposium on Operating Systems Design and Implementation (OSDI), 2026

A paravirtualized memory overcommitment framework for disaggregated memory that enables μs-scale cold memory reclamation and restoration via guest-level THP-aware hotness tracking and host-level EPT-only reclamation, bypassing costly guest page table and I/O page table modifications.

2026SIGIR

Cohesive Group Discovery in Interaction Graphs under Explicit Density Constraints

Yu Zhang, Yilong Luo, Mingyuan Ma, Yao Chen, Enqiang Zhu, Jin Xu, Chanjuan Liu

ACM SIGIR Conference on Research and Development in Information Retrieval (SIGIR), 2026

A framework leveraging adaptive energy diffusion and conductance-based extraction to discover maximum γ-quasi-cliques under explicit density constraints in interaction graphs.

2025BIBM

ComGAT-PPIS: A Community-Augmented Graph Attention Network for Protein-Protein Interaction Site Prediction

Yu Zhang, Qiqi Bao, Yilong Luo, Zhoupeng Li, Mingyuan Ma, Enqiang Zhu, Jin Xu

IEEE International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedicine (BIBM), 2025

A hierarchical graph attention network integrating residue-level and meso-scale community representations via Louvain-based community detection and gated fusion for protein-protein interaction site prediction.
